A Tradition of Innovation in Legal Education

The Online Hybrid J.D. program provides the foundational legal information you need to sit for the bar exam in most states and pursue a career as a lawyer.

You can expect a combination of online and in-person instruction: Over the course of four years, you will attend live online classes, complete interactive online coursework, and get to know your on-campus community during 10 Get Relevant Experience and Applied Learning (REAL) Intensives.

  • Participate in Socratic dialogues during live online classes
  • Complete a semester-long, 192-hour externship
  • Attend 10 immersive on-campus Get REAL Intensives

During the program, you will complete a capstone course, a semester-long law externship and a bar preparation course, which provide practical hands-on experience as well as exam preparation resources at key points throughout the curriculum.

You will benefit from real-time interaction with School of Law faculty members, who are experienced educators, legal scholars and practitioners in the field. You will also have full access to law librarians and career services specialists through the online platform.
